Parent Committee

 

A Scout group is a community. Without the support of our parents the group could not run.

Parents can support the group and the leaders in a number of ways, including:

• Joining the parent committee

• Assisting with transport to and from events and activities

• Attending fundraising events

• Assisting to keep the hall clean and tidy

• Maintaining group equipment

• Support with advertising and recruitment

​

The committment that parents make to the group is based on their availability and skills. Speak to the section or group leader to find out more about how you can help ensure that the group runs effectively.
